I am so sick of the hypocrisy! America, give morality a freaking break! The moral, at times red neck agenda has gotten old. David Vitter apologizes to GOD and his wife and all is forgiven, still in office. The woman on the other side, Deborah Jeane Palfrey, is dead having killed herself rather than going to prison for 8 years. Why is Vitter not looking at jail for being the “John”? I hear that may be against the law…. Ya’ All Know.
Are these not the same hypocrites pushing for tougher laws on prostitution, non-violent , consensual sex offenses and other issues of “morality”? Shouldn’t the lawmakers be held to a higher standard, or at LEAST the SAME standard of social conduct as the ordinary man? Sadly, an immoral madame lay dead and the very moral family man/senator must only apologize to GOD and be done and free to create the next set of morality laws that he is far above. The old ladies who have been married for 50 years, since the age of 12 to their husbands, 20 years older, can cheer now! One less chick that the senile fool may leave his assets to when he kicks it. Wonkette.com says it best
Moral America can celebrate its triumph! And Deborah, AKA DC Madame, you will be remembered on the moon..

ohh, this will be a long one because this issue aggravates me like none other.. For starters… just about every senior in high school who has dated a freshman or junior, the kid in college who is still dating his high school sweetheart, any dumb college kid who flashed or mooned anyone. the 12 year old kid who as a joke pulled down their younger siblings pants and laughed. the wrongfully accused and any man going through a bitter divorce with a vengeful wife. Anyway… 99.5% of the population So know who is a registered sex offender? Anyone who was unlucky enough to have been caught and someone lying about the age is no excuse…..everyone should be able to tell the difference between 17 and 18! period. think it could not possible be true? read on.
A 17 YO kid went to summer camp, sent there by his parents, he meets a girl at camp who tells him she is 16, they have a summer romance. Her parents find out, tell the kid she is only 13(he did not know, they are in the same teen summer camp together) he is now a registered sex offender for life. He is not allowed to return back to his school nor finish high school, he can never go to college or get a real job. Most likely he will spend 15 years in prison on registry violations before he is 40 and will be forced to move countless times as states add more and more places he no longer can live near.
A 20 year old college kid at spring break moons a group of girls with his buddies, gets arrested for indecent exposure. one of the girls has her 16 YO sister with her in the crowd. He is a sex offender for life. 20 years later, now 40, married with kids and having committed no crime the police come to his home, arrest him for a week lapse in registration, seems the Read the rest of this entry »

again… the quote from the US President George Bush was “Yes, I’m aware our national security team met on this issue. And I approved.” So why has no one really heard about this confession? A presidential, maybe criminal confession, should be front page news for every major news source on the globe, but, it wasn’t. The story only appeared on a few websites, a handful of smaller papers and the The Daily Show. Hmmm… gotta wonder… Could that many editors and publishers plain missed the interview… Or let me guess, the personal issues of Amy Winehouse or Brittney took precedence. Due to the media’s lack of coverage, there is a “Torture News Strike” going on Democrats.com site.
2008 is Ashley’s year of fame and fortune almost from its start, Ashley Dupre couldn’t have planned her rise to stardom any better. Ashley Dipierto Dupre had a modeling and acting portfolio, she really did want to be famous…. and all she had to do to get that fame was blow. WOW! Who would have thunk it. I wonder how many hookers are searching the internet for political photos to see if any of their clients match. Next year a new girl will no doubt come along and put an end to Ashley’s reign as queen Ho, but 2008 is all Ashleys and she has 10 more months to enjoy it, well, unless one of the whores searching through pictures on the internet looking for her johns actually finds a match and blows the whistle. There always seems to be a time gap between great sex scandals. I have a theory… These elite circles of sex, lies and videotape are fairly well protected. After a year without scandal, people feel safe, untouchable and stop worrying about getting caught becoming a bit sloppy. Media rushes in and fries the biggest fish of the now exposed circle.
With 99 percent of the vote counted, Obama had 61 percent to 37 percent for Clinton. Republican Sen. John McCain, who has already won enough delegates to claim the GOP nomination, rolled up 79 percent of the vote in Mississippi. Obama picked up at least 17 of Mississippi’s 33 delegates to the Democratic National Convention, with five more to be awarded. He hoped for a win sizable enough to erase most if not all of Clinton’s 11-delegate gain from last week, when she won three primaries. The Illinois senator had 1,596 delegates to 1,484 for Clinton. It takes 2,025 to win the nomination. With neither appearing able to win enough delegates through primaries and caucuses to claim the nomination, the importance of nearly 800 elected officials and party leaders who will attend the national convention as unelected superdelegates is increasing. Obama leads Clinton among pledged delegates, 1,385-1,237 in The Associated Press count, while the former first lady has an advantage among superdelegates, 247-211. Blacks, who also supported Obama in overwhelming numbers in earlier primaries, accounted for roughly half the ballots cast in Mississippi, according to interviews with voters leaving polling places. About one in six Democratic primary voters were independents, and Clinton and Obama split their support. Another 10 percent of voters were Republican, and they preferred Clinton by a margin of 3-1.
The end of year (2007) 10 most corrupt politicians in Washington list as from Judicial Watch. You gotta love how almost half the list is running for President this year. (Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, today released its 2007 list of Washington’s “Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians.” The list, in alphabetical order, includes: 1. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY): In addition to her long and sordid ethics record, Senator Hillary Clinton took a lot of heat in 2007 – and rightly so – for blocking the release her official White House records. Many suspect these records contain a treasure trove of information related to her role in a number of serious Clinton-era scandals. Moreover, in March 2007, Judicial Watch filed an ethics complaint against Senator Clinton for filing false financial disclosure forms with the U.S. Senate (again). And Hillary’s top campaign contributor, Norman Hsu, was exposed as a felon and a fugitive from justice in 2007. Hsu pleaded guilt to one count of grand theft for defrauding investors as part of a multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme. 2. Rep. John Conyers (D-MI): Conyers reportedly repeatedly violated the law and House ethics rules, forcing his staff to serve as his personal servants, babysitters, valets and campaign workers while on the government payroll. While the House Ethics Committee investigated these allegations in 2006, and substantiated a number of the accusations against Conyers, the committee blamed the staff and required additional administrative record-keeping and employee training. Judicial Watch obtained documentation in 2007 from a former Conyers staffer that sheds new light on the activities and conduct on the part of the Michigan congressman, which appear to be at a minimum inappropriate and likely unlawful. Judicial Watch called on the Attorney General in 2007 to investigate the matter. 3. Senator Larry Craig (R-ID): In one of the most shocking scandals of 2007, Senator Craig was caught by police attempting to solicit sex in a Minneapolis International Airport men’s bathroom during the summer. Senator Craig reportedly “sent signals” to a police officer in an adjacent stall that he wanted to engage in sexual activity. When the police officer showed Craig his police identification under the bathroom stall divider and pointed toward the exit, the senator reportedly exclaimed ‘No!’” When asked to produce identification, Craig presented police his U.S. Senate business card and said, “What do you think of that?” The power play didn’t work. Craig was arrested, charged and entered a guilty plea. Despite enormous pressure from his Republican colleagues to resign from the Senate, Craig refused. 4. Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA): As a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee’s subcommittee on military construction, Feinstein reviewed military construction government contracts, some of which were ultimately awarded to URS Corporation and Perini, companies then owned by Feinstein’s husband, Richard Blum. While the Pentagon ultimately awards military contracts, there is a reason for the review process. The Senate’s subcommittee on Military Construction’s approval carries weight. Sen. Feinstein, therefore, likely had influence over the decision making process. Senator Feinstein also attempted to undermine ethics reform in 2007, arguing in favor of a perk that allows members of Congress to book multiple airline flights and then cancel them without financial penalty. Judicial Watch’s investigation into this matter is ongoing. 5. Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R-NY): Giuliani came under fire in late 2007 after it was discovered the former New York mayor’s office “billed obscure city agencies for tens of thousands of dollars in security expenses amassed during the time when he was beginning an extramarital relationship with future wife Judith Nathan in the Hamptons…” ABC News also reported that Giuliani provided Nathan with a police vehicle and a city driver at taxpayer expense. All of this news came on the heels of the federal indictment on corruption charges of Giuliani’s former Police Chief and business partner Bernard Kerik, who pleaded guilty in 2006 to accepting a $165,000 bribe in the form of renovations to his Bronx apartment from a construction company attempting to land city contracts. 6. Governor Mike Huckabee (R-AR): Governor Huckabee enjoyed a meteoric rise in the polls in December 2007, which prompted a more thorough review of his ethics record. According to The Associated Press: “[Huckabee’s] career has also been colored by 14 ethics complaints and a volley of questions about his integrity, ranging from his management of campaign cash to his use of a nonprofit organization to subsidize his income to his destruction of state computer files on his way out of the governor’s office.” And what was Governor Huckabee’s response to these ethics allegations? Rather than cooperating with investigators, Huckabee sued the state ethics commission twice and attempted to shut the ethics process down. 7. I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby: Libby, former Chief of Staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, was sentenced to 30 months in prison and fined $250,000 for lying and obstructing the Valerie Plame CIA leak investigation. Libby was found guilty of four felonies — two counts of perjury, one count of making false statements to the FBI and one count of obstructing justice – all serious crimes. Unfortunately, Libby was largely let off the hook. In an appalling lack of judgment, President Bush issued “Executive Clemency” to Libby and commuted the sentence. 8. Senator Barack Obama (D-IL): A “Dishonorable Mention” last year, Senator Obama moves onto the “ten most wanted” list in 2007. In 2006, it was discovered that Obama was involved in a suspicious real estate deal with an indicted political fundraiser, Antoin “Tony” Rezko. In 2007, more reports surfaced of deeper and suspicious business and political connections It was reported that just two months after he joined the Senate, Obama purchased $50,000 worth of stock in speculative companies whose major investors were his biggest campaign contributors. One of the companies was a biotech concern that benefited from legislation Obama pushed just two weeks after the senator purchased $5,000 of the company’s shares. Obama was also nabbed conducting campaign business in his Senate office, a violation of federal law. 9. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA): House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who promised a new era of ethics enforcement in the House of Representatives, snuck a $25 million gift to her husband, Paul Pelosi, in a $15 billion Water Resources Development Act recently passed by Congress. The pet project involved renovating ports in Speaker Pelosi’s home base of San Francisco. Pelosi just happens to own apartment buildings near the areas targeted for improvement, and will almost certainly experience a significant boost in property value as a result of Pelosi’s earmark. Earlier in the year, Pelosi found herself in hot water for demanding access to a luxury Air Force jet to ferry the Speaker and her entourage back and forth from San Francisco non-stop, in unprecedented request which was wisely rejected by the Pentagon. And under Pelosi’s leadership, the House ethics process remains essentially shut down – which protects members in both parties from accountability. 10. Senator Harry Reid (D-NV): Over the last few years, Reid has been embroiled in a series of scandals that cast serious doubt on his credibility as a self-professed champion of government ethics, and 2007 was no different. According to The Los Angeles Times, over the last four years, Reid has used his influence in Washington to help a developer, Havey Whittemore, clear obstacles for a profitable real estate deal. As the project advanced, the Times reported, “Reid received tens of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from Whittemore.” Whittemore also hired one of Reid’s sons (Leif) as his personal lawyer and then promptly handed the junior Reid the responsibility of negotiating the real estate deal with federal officials. Leif Reid even called his father’s office to talk about how to obtain the proper EPA permits, a clear conflict of interest. Judicial Watch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. That even seems to work for the President of the United States. Yep, that I am just a hard-working, middle-class family man, trying to put food on the table, don’t ask me the Indian Prime Ministers name ‘cuz I don’t know, st..st..st..Studdering “say what” dumbfounded look, took some practice. It’s an image put together by the very sharp minds of some NON working-class and NOT so typical Yale graduates. This is the story of how George W. Bush got SO DUMB, and NO, he was not born that way as most would think. Proof of that may come from his SAT score, 1200+ range, 1300 is good enough for MENSA. George W. Bush is a far cry from the man he has tailored himself to represent. George W. Bush was born into the Elite, a family of great wealth, power and political pull. He had every advantage imaginable, went to the top prep schools and Universities and some say was already a millionaire in Elementary school due to stock in his daddy’s oil companies. Most American 10 year olds do not own a million shares of daddy’s oil companies. So how did this very rich kid, who never had to work a day in his life and was able to ditch the draft because of his families “political pull” end up being the “typical middle-class good ‘ole boy from Texas”? It takes a serious image makeover considering George was not even born in Texas.
As a teen and young adult, George W. Bush went to Yale and later Harvard. His time there seems to have been spent partying at the Frat house. Bush never went to Vietnam; instead, with the help of his family, he entered the Texas Air National Guard. Bush was immediately accepted into the Guard, where he kept getting promoted ending up in the 11th Fighter Interceptor Squadron ahead of long waiting lists with more qualified applicants. I guess it pays to have family in high places with lots of money. At a sad time when most American families saw their sons coming home in body bags or worse, the Bush son was in no danger. So, again… not the typical middle-class American. With 2 years left to go, Bush was grounded for “his failure to accomplish annual medical examination.” Either he never showed up, or he failed the physical. Some people speculate that he failed due to a drug test, but we will never know because those records are sealed. I am not sure if anyone knows what he did for those last two years other than Bush himself, all we know is he never did go overseas with the rest of the American boys. Afterwards, George W. tried his hand in oil. His companies sank and each time his company drowned, he got bailed out by “friends” of the family in the way of buyouts and mergers. George Bush Sr. was now in the White House and everyone wanted to help out the President’s son. Being the President’s son gave him an advantage at corporate fundraising. He was also known to have been a party boy and had a knack for remembering everyone’s name, both traits work well for raising money.
At a forum, Bush told the crowd: “Today is the first time I’ve been on a real farm.” That didn’t exactly impress the rural voters. He also showed himself jogging, again, not impressing the voters who did not jog nor had time to do so. In the debates, Bush tried his best to come off sounding smart and serious. He made references to complicated economic policies. Difficult as it may be to believe now, many voters in the 1978 campaign were turned off by George W. Bush’s overt intelligence. They figured him for some kind of brainiac. That sounds funny now, George W. Bush, seen as an Elitist “brainiac” who is so out of touch with constituents as to have never stepped on a farm while living in cowboy country. So now, lets fast-forward to his Presidential campaign. George W. Bush now knows that looking too “smart” is not going to get him elected. He now knows that he cannot look too polished, too rich, or refined because most Americans will not relate. He may have a knack for remembering everyone’s name, but most Americans do not know the name of the Indian Prime Minister or do they care about the names of foreign heads of State. Most Americans are working class people who do not know what its like to be rich, they worry about finances and they worry about feeding the kids and losing the house. George W. will have to do his best to pretend to be one of them, and a great job he did at that!
It’s a great illusion and better than any of the great magicians could ever pull off. The illusion is so good, that even knowing the facts of the Bush family, most people still see him as the “middle-class” workingman. That dumbfounded “I can’t remember” look works completely to his advantage. His opponents underestimate him for it and his followers believe it. As a society we are conditioned to believe that clumsiness, stupidity and naive ness go with honesty while intelligence goes with dishonesty, scheming and conniving. Even in Hollywood movies, the above holds true. We have the mad scientist, the evil genius and the lovable honest, clumsy hero. What does it say about Americans as a whole? Well, that we tend to mistrust the smart and the smartest thing someone can do is make them selves look stupid. It seems crazy, but it is true. Americans are intimidated by intellect and if you want to appeal to middle America, you better dumb yourself down to a “lovable” non-intimidating level. George W. Bush did it right. He transformed himself publicly into the bumbling, “honest” man and got a county to follow his family’s oil interests. Followed the oil all the way to the Middle East like his dad did before him, and, following family tradition, turned nations to ruble. Well, at least we can assume that he has now paid off those family debts for decades of favors. Hopefully the large oil companies and other contractors are now paid. Too bad, his debts have cost the world 100’s of thousands of lives. George W. Bush… should not only go down in the history books as America’s 43-rd President, but also as one of the great illusionists and quick change artists of our modern age. Following Hollywood’s lead into America’s perception of the “working-class”, honest, lovable, hero, George W. created the perfect Presidential image |
